Yvelines: Sentenced to 30 years in prison for having tortured, raped and killed his girlfriend

Mustapha B. has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, Thursday, by the assize court of the
Yvelines.

This man 34-year-old was found guilty of having tortured, raped and killed his girlfriend in 2012, in Mantes-la-Jolie (Yvelines). His sentence was accompanied by a preventive detention of 20 years.

Hit for hours with a cable and a belt

The autopsy of the victim of Mustapha B. had determined that the young woman, aged 24 years, had died following a strangulation or choking.

Before dying, she had suffered for several hours the blows of his companion, who was beaten with a cable and a belt, and had also raped her. Four children, aged 1 to 6 years, were in the apartment at the time of the homicide.

The accused had surrendered himself at the police station in Versailles with her children and her brother to accuse her of the murder, two days after the fact.
