He told about it in interview to one of Czech TV channels, reports Rus.Media.

Zeman said that he would not apologize for statements about the Russian annexation of Crimea, as just expressed a personal opinion.

He stressed that Ukraine may demand from him an official apology, as required by the rules of diplomacy, though he did not intend to do so, because never apologizes for his own opinion.

Zeman recalled that previously he has repeatedly called the annexation of the Crimea illegal, but now “it is important that the Crimea is in the possession of Russia.”

“And I can’t imagine any Russian government, which refused it”, – concluded the Czech President.
